"Communication Device"

​

1.  Parent asks the child to place the desired cards on the board "Johnny, place all the cards that you like on the board."  Parent praises child. "Great job placing all the cards on the board Johnny."

2.  As the child goes to each destination point, the child can point to the cards to show the parent where he wants to go. Parent asks the child, "Johnny, point to where you would like to go."  Parent praise. "Great pointing to the bumper cars."  Then, parent guides the child to toward the bumper cars.

3.  As the child points to a picture, the computer voice will label the picture "bumper cars" and the child will be encouraged to say "bumper cars" too.
